A train collided with a school bus at the crossing on 4th Street East near the elementary school in Carlyle on Tuesday, March 26. There were seven elementary students onboard at the time of the collision.

On Friday, March 22, grades one through six at Manor School participated in Jump Rope for Heart. The youth were brought to the gym at 1 p.m. where they were led through stretches before participating in the afternoon of jumping rope.
