ESTEVAN - The Estevan Strippers recreational hockey club showed its support Thursday for an important family program in Estevan.

Rick Rohatyn with the Strippers presented a cheque for $2,000 to Chantel Rubletz, representing the City of Estevan. The money will be used for the parent-tot skate program that the city offers.

Also participating in the photo was Andrew Smoliak with Baker Hughes, which sponsors the safe ride home program offered at the tournament's cabarets.

This year's tournament will run from April 3-7. Through support for the cabarets and other tournament initiatives, the Strippers have donated more than $230,000 to different causes in the area since 1997. Last year's donations amounted to $10,250.
