OXBOW - The community of Oxbow came together for some fun during the Family Day Winter Fest.
Activities included shinny involving young people and the Oxbow Huskies' senior hockey club, a learn-to-curl workshop, a scavenger hunt, public skating, open curling, crafts and a macramé rainbow keychain workshop. Hotdogs were available, the kitchen and the Lions' den were open, and Just Bread had waffle dogs and crepes.
The winter festival was made possible through support from the Grow your Community grant from South East Sport, Culture & Recreation District Inc.
Groups involved were Just Bread, the Oxbow Huskies, the Youth Drop-In Centre – Oxbow, the Oxbow Public Library, the Ada Staples Library, the Oxbow Curling Club, the Oxbow Lions Club, Oxbow/Enniskillen Fire & Rescue, AlyJ Macramé, and the South East Sport, Culture & Recreation District Inc.
