WEYBURN - The Weyburn and Area Communithon Business Committee thanked the Weyburn business community members who participated in the campaigns for the Weyburn Communithon 2022 to date.
There is still time to become involved by making a donation, attending the Communithon in person, or presenting on air on Friday, Oct. 28 at the Weyburn Legion Hall.
The Weyburn and Area Communithon 2022 will take place from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. The goal for 2022 is to raise $82,022 for the member agencies.
With the involvement of local businesses and companies that provides valuable resources and donations, the Communithon can support the 10 member agencies to continue to deliver their valuable programs and services for the citizens of our community.
The member agencies include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Inclusion Weyburn, Canadian Mental Health Association, Southeast Advocates For Employment, Canadian National Institute for the Blind Foundation - Southeast Saskatchewan, Youth for Christ, Community Low Income Centre, Spinal Cord Injury Saskatchewan Inc., Envision Counselling and Support Centre and the Weyburn Care-A-Van Society.
The incentives and benefits that businesses enjoy when they choose to participate as a donor for the Weyburn and Area Communithon are listed on the “Communithon Giving Levels” listed in the information package sent out to businesses.
The Communithon Committee accepts cash donations, as well as in-kind donations of goods, services and volunteer time.
