First and second place winners in the 1989 French Festival oratorical contest that involved 50 students enrolled in the French immersion classes at Sacred Heart are pictured here.

The judging was carried out during the French Cultural Festival staged at the Estevan National Exhibition Centre.

The students advanced to regional finals held later in Yorkton.
