Family Place prepares for Festival of Trees fundraiser

The Christmas trees will be up for viewing by the public at E. Bourassa and Sons on Highway 13 West in Weyburn.

WEYBURN - The Family Place in Weyburn is gearing up to host their annual Festival of Trees fundraiser, including an auction of decorated Christmas trees and an online silent auction of items.

The Christmas trees will be up for viewing by the public at E. Bourassa and Sons on Highway 13 West in Weyburn.

Tree setup will take place from Nov. 20-22, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day, and viewing will be open on Nov. 23-24, and 27-30 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Nov. 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The online tree auction will take place on Thursday, Nov. 30.

The Family Place is currently collecting items for the silent auction, as well as taking  names of those who wish to decorate and donate a Christmas tree for the auction.

Items can be dropped off for the silent auction at the Family Place on McLelland Street, or call at 306-842-7477 to make arrangements for pick up.
