ASSINIBOIA - Norm Nordgulen, Reeve of RM Lake of the Rivers No. 72 presented board members Christine Printz and Chantel Hannah from the Golden South Childcare Centre with a $34,000 donation towards a new childcare centre in Assiniboia.
Golden South Childcare Centre expressed their gratitude to the RM for the generous contribution and as their first Diamond Level Sponsorship.
With this donation, the board was able to make an offer on a property that will hopefully become their future centre.
As they begin the legal process of purchasing this property, they are reaching out to local businesses and organizations for donations to help with the renovations and upgrades required to become a licensed childcare centre.
