Show N Shine held at Assiniboia Museum

Many visitors attended the Show N Shine, with several mentioning that they will be back to spend more time checking out the many exhibits in the future

ASSINIBOIA - The Southern Cruisers Car Club teamed up with Assiniboia Museum for a Car Show ‘N Shine on September 17.

Attendance was estimated at about 300 people. People were from Seattle Wash, Regina, Shamrock, Estevan, Pangman, Rockglen, Medicine Hat, Glentworth, Swift Current, Neville, Valor, Mossbank, Lafleche, St. Brieux, Elbow, Pense, Woodrow, Bengough, Wood Mountain, Crane Valley, Glen Bain, Paradis, Minton, Gravelbourg, Rosetown, Lisieux, Manitou Beach, Ogema, Ormiston, Pilot Butte, Willow Bunch, Melaval along with Assiniboia.

The barbecue was staffed with Mayor Sharon Schauenberg, Councilors Peter Kordus, Bob Ellert, Patrick Grondin, along with several more volunteers including Bernice Woolhouse, Lorraine Silzer, Tina Dijkstra and several teenagers.

The Southern Cruisers Car Club and other organizations for donated items, visitors to the Car Show and all the volunteers. More information will be coming in the future.
