Fir Mountain Ladies Auxiliary presented a ‘Tribute to Elvis’ Concert featuring Rory Allen on December 1. Mark Jalbert was the capable Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Allen performed a wide variety of Elvis Presley’s songs to the appreciative audience. He interacted well with the crowd by coming down into the hall to make contact with them or inviting some to come up to the stage to sing especially for them. His mixture of comedy and music delighted patrons of all ages.
It was a very successful fundraiser. The proceeds were designated for hall renovations.
