WAWOTA - We are happy to see our librarian, Myrna Jewell, back at work. She spent three months away, recuperating from surgery. The Wawota Library is sponsoring a spaghetti western night on April 2 at the Wawota Town Hall. There will be a full evening of supper and entertainment as a fundraiser for the anticipated addition to the library.

Sympathy to the family of Garnet Fisk (Iris) who passed away at the Southeast Integrated Health Centre in Moosomin on Feb. 13. He was 95 years old. A graveside service was held on Feb. 18 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Congratulations to Tracey Tough and Kevin Lincoln on the birth of their son, Harrison Samuel Viggo. He was born on Feb. 17 and weighed six pounds, 12 ounces. He is a brother for Jocelyn and Liam, and a grandson for Herb and Lynda Whittle of Virden, Man., and Calvin and Karen Lincoln.

Congratulations also to Ken and Lisa (Myers) Hall on the birth of their daughter, Alexis Lillian. She was born on Feb. 11 and weighed eight pounds, eight ounces. She is a second granddaughter for Ken and Monique Myers.

Sympathy to the family of Iris (Wesley) Fisk who passed away at Deer View Lodge on Feb. 15. She was 97 years old. A service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
