WEYBURN - Plans are underway for the 70th annual Festival of Carols, which traditionally marks the start of the Christmas season in Weyburn. The festival will be held on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 and 7 p.m. at Grace United Church.
The Weyburn Rotary Club, who took it over last year from the Quota Club, is organizing the event. There will be community singing at the start of both sessions, with the program of local groups, choirs and performers to follow.
There is no admission to the carol festival, however a silver collection will be taken at the door.
