The Southern Plains Co-op is once again ranked among the top 100 businesses in Saskatchewan by Sask. Business Magazine.
Southern Plains was No. 81 on this year’s list. The co-op’s head office is located in Estevan, but they also have operations in Oxbow and Carlyle.
The co-op posted gross sales of $77.62 million in 2014, and net revenues of just under $3.26 million. They returned more than $1.4 million to members through patronage refunds.
Federated Co-operatives Limited was ranked No. 1 for the third straight year. They announced their ranking in a press release earlier this month, and they also revealed all of the co-ops to crack the top 100.
Southern Plains Co-op was No. 11 among co-operative organizations on the list. A total of 19 were in the top 100.
