Premier, Conservative candidate to visit Sask. Oil and Gas Show

Both the premier and MP visited the last Oil Show, held in 2019

WEYBURN – The Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show will be busy with various political figures on opening day, June 1.

The oil show will kick off with the opening chain-cutting ceremony at Crescent Point Place with Mayor Marcel Roy.

Premier Scott Moe will be joining the show during the luncheon to say a few words to the guests and help present the SE Legends, and Hall of Fame Awards at the Curling Rink at noon.

Candidate for the Conservative Party of Canada, and Carleton MP Pierre Poilievre, will also be in attendance at the luncheon to bring greetings and then will make his rounds throughout the show.

Saskatchewan’s Minister of Energy and Resources, Bronwyn Eyre, will bring greetings during the dinner in the evening at the Curling Rink, and will help present the awards of the Saskatchewan and Southeast Saskatchewan Oil Person of the Year awards.

Both Premier Moe and Poilievre were at the 2019 Oil Show, along with the provincial cabinet and other MPs, including Souris-Moose Mountain Robert Kitchen.
