Renovations now complete at Gudmundson Family Insurance

Renovations to the Co-operators building in Carlyle are now complete and include new flooring, paint and reception area.

CARLYLE - Dale Gudmundson and his staff held a customer appreciation day last week.

Renovations to the Co-operators building on Railway Avenue are now complete and include new flooring, paint and reception area. Members of the local fire department served a delicious barbecue lunch.

Gudmundson is a direct writer for Co-operators Insurance and purchased the Co-operators business in 2009. Prior to that, it was owned by Ken and Sheila Colpitts. This was a great opportunity for Gudmundson and his family, who continue to look forward to helping people with their insurance needs.

Martine Stillwell has been on staff since 2011 and is an associate insurance advisor. Taylor Muehr joined the team in early 2021 and is a clerical/associate insurance advisor.

“We all pride ourselves in providing top-notch customer service to our clients,” said Gudmundson. “Insurance is sometimes a complicated matter. We strive to go over each individual policy in great detail explaining the benefits to our customers in simple everyday language.”

Gudmundson Family Insurance is a full-service business that offers home, farm, commercial, auto and travel insurance as well as wealth management services. They have a loyal clientele and thank all of their customers for the opportunity to serve.

Gudmundson fully supports many non-profit organizations in Carlyle and area and he is pleased to advise that the entire proceeds of this luncheon have been donated to Carlyle Fire and Rescue. “$869.55 was raised and we have topped this up to $1,000,” added Gudmundson. “We also wish to thank Dennis Feduk for the donation of a pie which was raffled and to Gavin Thomas for the propane fill. Please feel free to stop in, have a coffee, and see our newly renovated office.”
