Vermilion Energy donates to school community council at ECS

Donation will be used for a lunch for Grade 8 students touring the school.

The school community council at the Estevan Comprehensive School recently received a $1,000 donation from Vermilion Energy. 

The school’s SCC is organizing a Grade 8 welcome lunch in May for all of the incoming Grade 8 students. The Grade 8s from all of the surrounding schools come to ECS each year to tour the building, but for the first time this year, they will be invited to stay and have a lunch in the school’s cafeteria.

The SCC believes this is a good way to introduce the students to the school in a more in-depth fashion than a tour.

To help fund this project, Vermillion Energy has stepped up with the donation.
