WEYBURN - The “Meet Weyburn” campaign is introducing a new initiative to encourage local residents to support local businesses with the “Chamber Bucks” program.
For the month of October, the Chamber urges residents to get out and support the local community and have a chance to win $1,000 in Chamber bucks.
In order to qualify, purchase between Oct. 1 and 31 from a Weyburn Chamber member business, and bring the receipt down to the Chamber office at 11 Third Street to ensure the receipt is qualified.
Your name will then be entered into the draw for $1,000 Chamber Bucks, which will be made on Monday, Nov. 15.
Each person can enter one receipt per business per day.

“The winner will have the opportunity to spend the $1,000 at many Weyburn Chamber businesses throughout the community,” said Larry Heggs, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce.
“We want to encourage people to shop local, and we are excited to give out $1,000 of Chamber Bucks to a lucky individual, the possibility of spending more money in our local economy during the Christmas months,” he added.
