WEYBURN – The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce announced that Monica Osborn will be the new Executive Director, replacing Larry Heggs, who finished his term in the position on July 1.

Monica has been with the Chamber as the Office Administrator for the past five years and will move into the role of Executive Director immediately.

Over the past five years, Monica has grown in her role with the Chamber and most recently acted as the show manager of the Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show. This role helped her expand her knowledge in management and leadership skills.

Monica is dedicated to the Chamber and is closely connected to the community of Weyburn in many ways. An active and passionate volunteer, Monica believes in the value in building a strong network of businesses and individuals and looks forward to finding opportunities to create an atmosphere of growth in Weyburn.

“Weyburn and its business community will be well served by Monica in her new role as the Chamber’s Executive Director,” said Stephen Schuck, president of the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce.

“She has the experience and talents to ensure Weyburn remains one of the easiest and best places to do business in Saskatchewan. The Board is excited to see what she accomplishes in her new role.”

The Board of Directors would like to extend their thanks to Larry Heggs as outgoing Executive Director, as well as a past board member and president.
