Arson charge laid following a fire in Lampman

The Estevan RCMP has announced a charge in connection with a fire in Lampman on Tuesday.

LAMPMAN - The Estevan RCMP has announced that a 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged with arson following a residential fire in Lampman on Tuesday.

His first court appearance will be Nov. 7 in Estevan Provincial Court. 

Emergency crews were called to the scene. The Estevan RCMP said nobody was injured, but the residence sustained extensive damage in the fire.

In a post on its Facebook page, Lampman Fire and Rescue said all members worked tirelessly to ensure the fire didn’t spread to neighbouring houses. Lampman EMS was also called to the scene.
