Assiniboia Kinsmen contribute to record-breaking TeleMiracle

Assiniboia Kinsmen were proud to contribute to Telemiracle

ASSINIBOIA - TeleMiracle 46 raised over $8 million this year from generous Saskatchewan citizens on the March 5 and 6 weekend in Regina. Another record-breaking year, the total was almost a million more than the previous record of 2017.

Assiniboia Kinsmen were proud to contribute.

“We had two very successful fundraisers this year for Telemiracle. At our Beef on a Bun and 50/50 at the Bar-B in Assiniboia, we made a total of $682.50.

“Everybody really enjoyed getting out and celebrating live, since last year it was take-out only,” said Kinsmen member Howard Ellis.

“Then we had an auction at the Limerick Bar and Hotel on March 2. Jordan Engstrom of Assiniboia performed,” said Ellis.

“That was a big draw and it was really well attended with standing room only. Our auction prizes included  a smoker, go-pro camera, drill driver, roundup chemical, some gifts for the ladies, a side-by-side for the kids and more. The auction sales plus cash donations, and 50/50 sales brought in $12,732.50.”

“All totalled, we were able to donate $13,415 to Telemiracle Saskatchewan,” said Ellis.

All proceeds that are raised during Telemiracle stay in Saskatchewan for residents in need.
