‘Biggest Little Fair’ back in Creelman after hiatus

The perennial favourite for families to see and participate in is the pig scramble on the fair grounds.

WEYBURN - The Creelman Fair is back for the first time since 2019, and will feature the full range of attractions and activities on Saturday, July 16.

The day will kick off with a pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Memorial Hall, followed by the fair parade at 10 a.m. down Main Street.

After the parade, there will be a full day of activities to take in at the fair grounds, put on by the Creelman Ag Society.

Admission to the grounds is $5 per person, and children aged six and under get in for free.

There will be a kids midway, craft and trade show, a bingo, and a concession booth and beer gardens will help keep everyone fed and hydrated for the day. In addition to the booth, a cold plate meal can be had all day in the rink, with homemade pie available.

For animal lovers, there is a horse and cattle show, a dog show, and farm animals such as poultry, rabbits, sheep and alpacas are also on display for people to see.

For the sports fans, there is a beach volleyball tournament and a slo-pitch tournament slated for the day.
