April 5 at 1 p.m.: Broadview RCMP are asking for help locating a woman last seen on Kahkewistahaw First Nation earlier this week, after her vehicle was found abandoned on Sunday.
Leslie Sparvier, 38, was last seen at a residence on the First Nation on April 2, and was known to be driving a brown 2006 Dodge Caravan.
The van was found abandoned in a rural area near Miami, Man. the following day, said police. Investigation is ongoing to determine where Sparvier is currently.
Sparvier is described as five foot six, with an average build and short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a hooded jacket with a distinctive pattern.
RCMP ask anyone with information about Sparvier’s whereabouts, or about an individual matching this description, to contact them at 1-306-696-5200.
