The Moose Mountain Elks have successfully booked the talented group consisting of Dave Norman as Johnny Cash and lead guitar, Debbie Norman on vocals and the bass guitar, with Dave Wickett on percussion.

The three musicians who have come together to create this tribute show have all been playing music for many years. Together they formed Cash Back in 2004 when they took to the open road. Their show has since been met with much interest and has been enjoyed throughout the province.

They stay true to the fast, steady rhythm that Johnny Cash was made famous by. Cash Back will feature songs by Johnny Cash and some of the Carter Family hits, as Cash became close to the family through his wife June Carter Cash. Songs include Cash's well known hits such as Folsom Prison Blues, Get Rhythm, Jackson, and Wanted Man. They also perform a number of Cash's gospel tunes and a few June Carter Cash's songs such as Wildwood flower.

It is described as being a wonderful "family oriented" show and contains some of the greatest Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash music made.

The group tells stories throughout the performance about Cash's songs and also brings humour to the stage.

It will be a two part concert with coffee and tea served during the intermission and is sure to be a great way to enjoy a cold January night. The show is $20 for the evening and starts at 7:30 p.m., though doors will open approximately around 6 p.m. for people to find a seat.
