Civic Election made official

With the Federal Election in the books, the City of Weyburn has officially given notice of their election for City Councillor. Voting will take place on May 18 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Weyburn Junior High School.

A Mobile Poll has also been established for electors who, because of physical disability or limited mobility, are unable to attend the established polling place. Upon application to Returning Officer Donette Richter, the voter will be attended to by an election official at their place of residence.

The Mobile Poll will be available on Saturday, May 14. Applications for the Mobile Poll can be made by contacting Richter at 848-3209. The deadline for receipt of applications to vote at a Mobile Poll is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6.

An Advance Poll will also be available for those electors who have limited mobility, have been appointed as an election official, or anticipate being unable to vote on Election Day. Voting will take place on Saturday, May 14 between 1 and 5 p.m. at City Hall.
