Emergency crews called to pedestrian-vehicle collision Tuesday

Pedestrian suffered what were described as minor injuries.

ESTEVAN - Emergency crews in Estevan were called to a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in the north end of the city on Tuesday.

The driver of the vehicle stopped and called 911 immediately. The Estevan Police Service, along with the Estevan Fire Rescue Service and Estevan EMS, responded to the scene. 

The female pedestrian received minor injuries, was checked by EMS and released. The matter is still under investigation.

Police received a report of an assault and uttering threats from the previous night. A statement was obtained from the victim. The matter is still under investigation.

Officers also received a call of an assault that took place at a residence in the central part of the city. Members attended and spoke with both parties. The matter is still under investigation.
