Estevan man facing 14 charges for firearms, three for uttering threats

The Estevan Police Service has announced a series of charges against an Estevan man.

ESTEVAN -  An Estevan man is facing a large number of charges after he was arrested by members of the Estevan Police Service. 

Kristofer Douglas Donald, who was wanted for several criminal offences including uttering death threats and threatening to kill police officers, was located and arrested on Jan. 14.

A loaded prohibited firearm was located and seized at the time of his arrest. Donald was held in custody overnight and made his first court appearance on Jan. 15 in Estevan Provincial Court. 

He has been charged with;

  • Fourteen firearms and weapons offences, including possessing a loaded prohibited firearm;
  • Three charges of uttering threats to cause death;
  • Fraud; and
  • Fail to comply with a probation order.

Donald has been remanded in custody and will make his next court appearance on Jan. 16.
