Estevan police made a couple of arrests on Friday

ESTEVAN — A 25-year-old Winnipeg female was arrested for assault after a complaint at an apartment in the downtown area on Nov. 17. She was lodged in cells until sober and will be released for court in January to answer to the charges.

The same day police received a report of "taking a vehicle without consent".  The vehicle was located later in the evening and a 29-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court in January to answer to the charges.

During a traffic stop on Fourth Street, a 35-year-old Estevan female was issued a 21-day driving suspension and the vehicle she was operating was impounded after she tested positive for THC on a roadside oral fluid device.

Police were also dispatched to a toddler left alone in a vehicle. Members attended however, the vehicle had left prior to their arrival.

Police responded to an apartment complex in the Hillside area for a report of a disturbance. All parties were spoken to and one individual was warned not to return.
