WEYBURN - For the fifth summer in a row, Weyburn Tourism launched the “Be A Tourist in your own Hometown” campaign.

This year there is a special focus to the campaign, which will run from July 11 to Sept. 5, and they are encouraging Weyburn residents to #ExploreWeyburn, bingo-style.

Residents are encouraged to #ExploreWeyburn by picking up a bingo card at the Tourism office.

Here is how it works: Head to the locations listed on the Bingo card; Be sure to snap photos of your adventure and get a stamp.

How do you get a stamp? Come down to the Tourism office at 11 Third Street, and show staff your adventure. They will verify the picture and ensure you get your stamp. If you get a line of five and bring your bingo card to the Tourism office, your name goes into a draw.

The winner will be announced on Tuesday, Sept. 6. Ensure you are following Weyburn Tourism on their social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram, @WeyburnTourism.

Weyburn Tourism also has a Summer Tourism Ambassador, Teresa Weger, who will be exploring Weyburn all summer, including many areas on the bingo card.

Contact Niki Nagy at Weyburn Tourism if you are wanting the Tourism Ambassador to check out a tourist spot or event in Weyburn. You can reach her at marketing@weyburnchamber.com.
