Fire destroys North Weyburn home

The DeConnick family home lies smoking in ruins, after a fire destroyed the home late Wednesday afternoon in the hamlet of North Weyburn. No one was hurt in the fire, but the family lost everything as the blaze completely destroyed the home.

No one was hurt in the fire, but the family lost everything as the blaze completely destroyed the home. The cause remains under investigation by the Weyburn Fire Department. Meantime, a trust fund has been set up for the Cal and Jen DeConnick family at the Weyburn Credit Union; the Family Place is coordinating all material donations with local agencies according to what their needs are.
