The Jr. Girls competed in the SEDAA in Carnduff on November 2nd. They finished the round robin in 1st place with a record 4-0 capturing both sets in each match. They went on to play WJH in the semi final, and lost in a thrilling 3 set match capturing 3rd place. It was a great day of volleyball.

Intermediate boys' results from Weyburn Districts - November 2 - the team placed fourth - Round Robin they lost to Weyburn Junior High 2-0, split with Moosomin 1-1, split with Estevan 1-1. In the Semi-Final they lost to Weyburn Junior High 2-0. The boys did very well this year despite that they started late and they were busy learning a new offensive and defensive strategy. Great job this year gentlemen.

Thanks to everyone who supported the Student Council's magazine campaign. We made it just over halfway to our goal! Halloween door decorating and dress up was a success with a lot of Halloween spirit being shown.

If you are looking for a Christmas idea for your son or daughter, we may have something that interests you. Mr. Johnson and Mr. Birch have put together the first ever GFK Clothing Line and will soon be open for business with all the items. In the next couple of weeks, order forms will be available and all art work will be displayed for the various items. To begin, GFK will be offering track suits, hoodies, sweats, t-shirts (with long sleeve options) and golf shirts. Please check out the blog for additional information in the days ahead!

The school newsletter has been mailed to all parents. If you do not have one, come on over to the school and pick one up.

Along with the school, the Student Council is fundraising in order to purchase two virtual information signs. We are looking for sponsorship with the potential for advertising on these high tech signs. Anyone interested should contact Mr. Howe at the school.
