Listening to his presentation are, from far left, Coun. Bill Rudachyk, Coun. Nancy Styles, Coun. Dick Michel, city manager Bob Smith, and city clerk Donnette Richter. He appeared before council at their Oct. 12 meeting to appeal their decision to end his lease in 2014, and to ask permission to move two portable cabins onto the property to accommodate the international researchers and volunteers he wants to bring in next year. Council denied him permission to bring the cabins onto the property, and were adamant he has to vacate the property by 2014 when his lease agreement runs out.
