Weyburn RCMP were called to a collision scene by Tribune.

TRIBUNE - Weyburn RCMP responded to reports of a collision between a semi and a piece of farm machinery on Highway 35, approximately four kilometres south of Tribune, on Friday at approximately 12:33 p.m.

Initial investigation determined that the farm machinery struck the rear portion of the semi while travelling south. The collision caused the farm machinery to tip onto its side, blocking the highway in both directions.

STARS Air Ambulance attended and airlifted the adult male driver of the farm machinery to hospital with what were described as being serious injuries. The adult female driver of the semi did not report any injuries.

Highway 35 was blocked for several hours. The highway has since been cleared of all debris and has reopened to traffic travelling in both directions.
