Kindersley – A rally in favour of oil and gas as well as pipelines is being organized for Kindersley on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 1 p.m.

“Let’s take a stand for our oil and gas industry in Saskatchewan and support Alberta. Show the faces of people here directly and indirectly affected by decisions in Ottawa like the carbon tax (plus GST) on us in rural Canada and Bill C-69, which will make pipelines impossible to build, and the tanker ban on the northwest B.C. coast,” said Ryan Orton.

Orton is one of the organizers and has formerly worked in the oilpatch around Kindersley.

The idea is to start at the Kindersley Mall. They may then progress to the Elks Hall.

Orton would like people to bring Saskatchewan and Canadian flags, as well as signs supporting the oil industry.
