Bursts of colour and light explode in the sky over Weyburn late on Monday night, as the City of Weyburn sets off their fireworks to wrap up Canada Day festivities. This was coupled with the end of the first day of the Weyburn Fair, with the fireworks fired off just west of the fair grounds. Canada Day activities were held during the day at the Leisure Centre grounds, including free swimming, a pancake breakfast and barbecue, arts and crafts, and then later that day the Fair opened its three-day event, and will wrap up today, July 6 at the Weyburn fairgrounds.
