COVID-19 Risk Highest for Unvaccinated

Of the 2,000 new COVID-19 cases reported in June, more than 80 per cent of those cases were unvaccinated. There were zero ICU admissions and zero deaths in fully vaccinated residents. At this time, your risk of contracting COVID-19 is not determined by your age but by your vaccination status.

Saskatchewan could continue to see localized outbreaks among unvaccinated and under-vaccinated populations. Every eligible person requires two doses of vaccine in order to achieve optimal protection, particularly against the Delta variant.

Every resident 12 and older in every community whether urban, rural or remote:  Stick it to COVID and get vaccinated.
