The Weyburn Police Service is asking for the public's assistance in solving some outstanding cases of theft and fraud. On Dec. 3, 2013, two males, approximately 18-20 years old, entered a local business and used rolled coins to pay for merchandise.

On Dec. 3, 2013, two males, approximately 18-20 years old, entered a local business and used rolled coins to pay for merchandise. The coin rolls were checked after the men left the store, and the wrong denomination was found inside the rolls.
The first suspect is described as five-foot-eight-inches, stocky build with shaggy light brown hair, wearing a dark-coloured hat with the initials "DC" in blue on the front. He was wearing a grey sweater and jeans. The second suspect was wearing a dark-coloured jacket with camouflage print down the sleeves; he is also about five-foot-eight with a stocky build and short dark hair. They drove off in a medium-sized four-door dark green sedan.
On Oct. 26, 2013, police had a report that a vehicle located at a South Hill business had been broken into; a Lenovo laptop and Internet stick were stolen from the truck. It is believed this incident may be related to several other stolen vehicles taken the same evening.
On Oct. 2, 2013, police received a complaint from the Wal-Mart about a stolen television. A suspected attempted to return a 32-inch RCA LED TV that he had no receipt for; he walked out of the store with the TV, which was later found to be stolen from the electronics department a short time before.
The suspect is described as five-foot-nine with short dark hair and a medium build. he was wearing a dark blue zip-up hoodie, dark jeans and bright-coloured running shoes.
