The Weyburn Police Service is asking for the public's assistance in solving the following crimes from the past eight months.
On August 13, police responded to a complaint of vandalism at the Weyburn Comprehensive High School. Two buildings had been broken into, with damage to windows and doors.
Souris School was also vandalised on August 4. Several windows had been broken out and a fire extinguisher had been expended on the roof of the building.
Several business owners called police with complaints of graffiti damage done to parts of their buildings and to one vehicle. Swastikas had been painted with black spray paint overnight on July 5.
Police received a complaint on June 18 of a theft of a utility trailer. The trailer was parked near the Therapeutic Animal Park.
A report of vehicle damage was received by police on June 11, after the complainant had a tire slashed and his vehicle keyed while parked at his residence located in central Weyburn. A scalpel blade was found in one of the tires of the vehicle and it appeared the blade was used to key the paint on several areas of the truck as well.
On May 14, police responded to a complaint of mischief to a vehicle while parked in the lot at the mall. A rear passenger window of a minivan had been broken with an unknown object. Nothing was reported missing from within the vehicle.
A local business reported graffiti on a bay door. "Native Blue Bloods" was spray painted in blue.
On February 15, police responded to a break and enter of a residence located in the northwest part of the city. Culprits kicked in the front door of the home when the home owners were absent. Several items were taken from the residence including a laptop, camera and some gold jewelry.
