On the night of May 22, a 24-year-old Alberta man was charged for failing to comply with a demand for an alcohol screening device during a traffic stop in Estevan.

The man undergoing the roadside check refused the breathalyzer test and was therefore charged accordingly by members of the Estevan Police Service (EPS) and will appear in court later.

On that same evening, a 25-year-old Alberta man was arrested for being intoxicated in public after EPS received a complaint from a cab driver regarding a customer who failed to pay the cab fare.

After further investigation, the man was subsequently charged for being in breach of court order conditions on a recognizance and will appear in court at a later date to respond to the charges.
