Clarence McMillan made his first appearance in Estevan Provincial Court on Monday, charged with unlawfully possessing pornography, showing a person who is or is depicted as being under the age of 18, as outlined in the Criminal Code of Canada.

Little else is known regarding the circumstances of the arrest, nor where McMillan is from.

The Crown, represented by Bill Burge, opposed McMillan's release. He has been remanded in custody until Thursday when he will make another court appearance.

Robert Joshua Achadinha and Corey William Johnson, two of the individuals arrested in a string of drug busts in late August, appeared in Estevan Provincial Court on Monday.

It was announced that both had applied for legal aid and will be represented by local lawyer, Robert Grimsrud.

Grimsrud requested an adjournment, so as to seek further disclosure in the case. Scott Moffatt, who will represent the Crown in the case, said he expects to have the disclosure prepared and available by Monday.

Achadinha and Johnson will appear back in court on Sept. 30 at 10 a.m.

A trial date has been set for Darcy Germain, one of the 28 individuals arrested in drug busts on Dec. 3, 2009.

Germain is facing four drug-related charges, including two for trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Germain's trial will take place on Feb. 28.
