REGINA — The Regina Police Service have issued a warrant for a second individual believed to be involved with a homicide on the east side of the city earlier this month.

Police are searching for Ismail Ahmad Hassan, 32, on charges of second degree murder and breach of release.

He is described as a black male, approximately 6’ tall and weighing about 220 pounds with an athletic build, and having black hair and brown eyes.

Hassan is the second suspect accused of the Nov. 14 homicide of Ahi Ebrotie, in connection to an investigation by police on Heseltine Road.

One individual has already been charged in relation to the incident. Abdimalik Dahir Mohammed, 31, was arrested and charged on Nov. 23.

Regina police said Hassan’s last known address is in Toronto, Ont. and that it is possible he is no longer in Regina. Efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful so far, said a statement from the RPS.

Anyone who sees a person matching Hassen’s description or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 1-306-777-6500 or Regina Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
