Scavenger hunt at the Comp

The Weyburn Comprehensive School held a scavenger hunt over the past few weeks, with 13 teams participating. Many of the items, including toilet paper, toothbrushes and children's books, were collected to donate to local charities.

Many of the items, including toilet paper, toothbrushes and children's books, were collected to donate to local charities. Other items on the list included a Canadian $1 bill for 50 points, a tandem bike for 75 points, a reporter from the local paper for 150 points and a drivable dump truck for 200 points.

The three teams with the most points were awarded prize money earned from the $50 entry fee. First place received $300; second place got $180 and third received $120.
