ESTEVAN - RCMP officers in southeast Saskatchewan are on the lookout Thursday for a stolen vehicle.

According to a post from the Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network, the Estevan and Carnduff RCMP were patrolling for a stolen red Dodge pick-up truck. The Estevan Police Service said the truck was stolen from the Osage area and was spotted in Estevan. The truck was pursued by the Estevan Police Service but fled into the rural area.

The suspect vehicle is believed to have entered a rural farmyard near Frobisher Thursday night and suspects attempted to steal a vehicle, but were scared off by the owner. The pick-up truck was located by the RCMP in Oxbow, according to a follow-up message, but the whereabouts of the suspects was unknown as of early Friday morning.

The RCMP said two suspects are in the vehicle. One is described as a larger bald male wearing a medical mask. A description is not available of the other person.
