An incredible amount of funds can be raised during an online auction.
WEYBURN - Calling all crafters, woodworkers, artists, home-based businesses, and retail sales individuals. If you are talented when it comes to creating, or have some neat items for sale within your local business, the Weyburn Communithon needs your help.

Communithon is currently seeking donations to support them in getting their annual online auction up and running.

Show off some of the products you have to offer, while supporting 11 member agencies and the important services that they provide in and around the wonderful community of Weyburn.

“Without donations from the community, our annual online auction would be a bust. An incredible amount of funds are raised via this incredible fundraiser,” said Raven Daer, Communithon Committee Member.

“We heavily rely on incoming donations to ensure that our goal is reached each and every year. We have been hosting this auction for two years now, and are so excited to see what items roll in this year.”

“We’ve said it before, and we will say it again. Community makes Communithon successful,” she added.

The Weyburn Communithon annual online auction will be held from Oct. 17 to 24.

“Communithon is only 38 short days away,” said Daer. “We are so excited to get back into the Legion and share some of Weyburn’s finest local talent and entertainment with you all. See you October 29th!”

Donations can be dropped off at DSI Contracting, located at 1530 First Avenue NW.

The Communithon is asking that all donations be submitted by Wednesday, Oct. 13, to ensure that there is enough time for processing.
