Both volleyball teams were successful this past weekend at SHSAA regional competition and will advance to provincials, the girls in Moose Jaw and the boys in Prince Albert. The girls are the defending provincial champs. After this weekend basketball will take over the sports scene at WCS.
The annual WCS Fowl Supper is happening soon, on November 29. All patrons are reminded to come into the west doors (gymnasium entrance) and proceed to the gymnasium, due to renovations. Entertainment will be provided by the school choirs prior to the meal. In the Cafetorium, entertainment will be provided by the concert band, jazz band and S.T.A.R.S. choir. Cost is $10 per person with the exception of free admission for pre-school children. There is no family rate. Eagle Passes were only sold for athletic events this year, therefore no discount will be available. Parents of SRC team members and groups are reminded to ask their son or daughter what items they are to provide.
