Winning a million dollars will help George Tosczak to achieve a few things that he has dreamed about, but he noted, "I won't change too much."

The Weyburn resident won the $1 million in a new $100 million jump lottery scratch ticket, which he purchased from the Esso Convenience Store, located at 148 Sims Avenue, right across from where George works at Great Plains Ford.

"I bought the tickets before work, and then later in the day had some time to scratch them." It was the last ticket scratched that turned out to be the winner, and when George saw the three million-dollar symbols he was in disbelief. "My boss just happened to walk by, so I asked him to come in and take a look at the ticket, and he confirmed the one million prize."

Tosczak added that all the staff at Great Plains Ford have congratulated him on the winnings, and he is looking forward to returning to work.

The Saskatchewan Lotteries Centre in Regina officially awarded Tosczak with his prize on May 11, and George attended a special function with his fiancee Diane Farney. "The experience in Regina was pretty good; the Lottery people took us out for dinner, and we drove through the Wascana in a limousine. We also attended a press conference for the prize."

George hasn't made any definite plans on how to spend his winnings yet, but is planning to return to his job. One dream that he is considering is getting a home in the country.
