Weyburn Review wins three awards from SWNA

The Weyburn Review took home three awards from the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspapers Association's Better Newspapers Competition, with the awards presented at the annual convention over the weekend in Regina.

The Weyburn Review took home three awards from the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspapers Association's Better Newspapers Competition, with the awards presented at the annual convention over the weekend in Regina.In the general excellence category, which looks at the newspaper as a whole, the Weyburn Review won first place for the Best Editorial Page, and third place for Best Overall Paper in its circulation category.In the Premier Awards, the Review also won third place for Best Business Writing, for a story by Greg Nikkel about the visit by a U.S. congressional delegation, along with the premier, to the CO2 project at EnCana/Cenovus.
