The Estevan Bruins extended the survivor series against Melville last night with a 3-2 victory in the third game of four this series to go beyond regulation into overtime.


The Estevan Bruins extended the survivor series against Melville last night with a 3-2 victory in the third game of four this series to go beyond regulation into overtime.

The teams were goalless after two periods, with Joel Danyluk making 27 saves in the first two periods for the Bruins.

Dylan Smith led the way for the Bruins with a goal less than five minutes into the third period. Troy Hunter then put the Bruins up 2-0.

Chris Daniels took the only minor penalty of the game, and the Millionaires capitalized, and later tied the game with 1:45 left in the third period.

Daniels scored from Smith just 1:36 into the overtime to force game five Thursday night back at the Civic at 7:30.
