CARLYLE - As is becoming tradition, this past Tuesday the Carlyle ladies night committee hosted their annual hole-in-one event.

The winning prize was to be a new 2022 Ford Bronco, sponsored by Merit Ford. While there was no winner, everyone in attendance enjoyed themselves.

Eighteen teams participated in a four-person best ball. The designated hole-in-one hole was No. 3 and the yardage was set at 150 yards. Seven women hit the green, including Sarah Brownridge, Sheena Grimes, Shawn Dunn, Skyla Mayert, Lisa Morrison, Carrie Hengen and Tammy Petzel.

Brownridge was the sixth golfer through and her shot of eight feet, one inch from the hole stood up all night long as being closest to the pin. Her foursome was the only ones to birdie the hole.

Noreen Brady won the longest putt on hole nine.

All participants enjoyed the meal after their round. Organizers are looking forward to hosting this popular event again in 2023.

Ladies nights are held every Tuesday at the Carlyle Golf Club. It is a 5:30 p.m. shotgun start and to register, golfers can contact the clubhouse at 306-453-6344. Ladies nights will continue until September.
