The Pee Wee Cougars, and their coaches Todd Magotiaux, Gilles Matthewson, and Clayton Geiger, started off their season with a game in Redvers on Saturday, November 6. Tommy Cappo scored the first goal of the year in the first period. This hard hitting match-up saw Jett Big Eagle and Jacob Chalus playing strong at both ends of the ice. The offensive play of Austin Dovell, Jory Dyck, and Mac Nivens kept Redvers on their heels, but the Redvers goalie had a great day. It was a fast paced game and the Cougars played well, but Redvers ended up winning 4 to 1.

On Saturday, November, 13th, the Pee Wee Cougars hosted the Oxbow Huskies. The Huskies came out fast and scored twice in the opening period. But after a rest, a few adjustments, and a pep talk from Coach Todd, the Cougars returned to the ice in the second period ready to turn things around. Defenseman Dalton Loustel picked up the puck behind his own net and ended up putting it in Oxbow's net at 7:07 of the 2nd period. Two minutes later, Loustel scored again after a perfect pass from Ashton Magotiaux. Kruz Wilson made some tremendous saves to ensure that the score stayed tied going into the second break. In the 3rd period, defensemen Clayton Hill and Kirk Zacharias helped keep Oxbow off the scoreboard. Meanwhile, the Cougars kept up the pressure in Oxbow's end. Sam Matthewson put in the go ahead goal at the beginning of the 3rd with assists from Riley MacCrimmon and Jake Macleod. The Cougars put in an insurance goal when Matthewson found MacCrimmon who passed it up to speedster Macleod who scored on a breakaway at 2:51. The final score: Cougars 4, Oxbow 2. The Cougars are undefeated in their "house."
