Carnduff's Carter Beck named Saskatchewan U18 AAA baseball MVP

SASKATOON - A talented young baseball player from Carnduff was a big winner at the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League U18 AAA division's awards ceremony on Friday.

Carter Beck of the South East Performance Pump U18 AAA Twins was named the most valuable player and the top hitter for the league.

He had a .470 batting average, an .585 on-base percentage, 31 runs, 24 runs batted in and 73 total bases in 24 games played. 

The Twins finished fourth in the SPBL during the regular season with a 21-10 record. They are currently playing at provincials in Saskatoon. 

Beck is the second player from the Twins to win the awards in the past four seasons. In 2019, Tyren Dorrance took home both awards.
