The following are some of the major motions that were passed during the meeting:Officiating pay:To keep up with the competition - notably Weyburn - and to reduce mileage fees by encouraging Estevan locals to officiate Estevan games, those in attendance agreed to increase officiating fees. For midget, the head referee will receive a pay increase of $10 per game, with both linesmen receiving increases of $5. For bantam and peewee divisions, all referees and linesmen will receive a pay increase of $5 per game.Registration fees:With ice fees going up five per cent, it was decided that registration fees would be raised a set $20 for each division."A" teams update:The Estevan peewee and bantam "A" division teams will move over to Hockey Regina - following the suit of Moose Jaw and Weyburn - for the 2010 season. The Midget A team will not change leagues.Basement fee set for sponsorship:To protect against companies withdrawing or decreasing their sponsorship payments to teams, a motion was passed to set a minimum required amount that a sponsor must pay to keep their name on the team. Sponsors may still pay more, but the minimum fees are as follows: atom: $1,200; peewee A, bantam A: $800, plus socks; midget A: $1,500; peewee AA, bantam AA and midget AA: $2,000.
